Delete your account
Delete directly in the app
Open Footprint → Sign up / Log in. Sign in to the account you want to delete and choose Delete account. Email accounts confirm with their password; Apple accounts authenticate again with Apple. Confirm permanent deletion. This is different from logging out and cannot be undone.
What is removed
Your account, profile, saved places, votes, contributions, uploaded photos and sessions are removed from the live database. Apple authorization is also revoked for Apple accounts. Backups rotate out after approximately 14 days and are not used for normal display. Temporary security rate-limit records expire separately.
Cannot access the app?
Email [email protected] for deletion assistance. We verify account ownership before deletion and never ask for your password or verification code. Visiting this page does not delete your account.
Removing individual items
Delete a photo or review in Footprint → My contributions. You can also unsave a place or undo or change a recommendation without deleting your account.
